vvvrs - luckiest Generation (audio video)
First of all, hi! It's been a long time since I've released anything on this channel. I am still alive and still working on stuff! Mainly music, video hasn't really been my focus lately which is why I haven't uploaded. So, why am I here now? Well, vvvrs is an electronic project that I created about 6 or 7 years ago. I stopped working on it for various reasons. Recently I was re-listening to some of the songs and have decided to just release everything. This is the first of that batch. You'll probably see more videos from that project here.
If you want to download the song it's here: vvvrs.bandcamp.com

Breadboard Build: The ATARI PUNK CONSOLE (APC) with two 555 timer chips!
Просмотров 14 тыс.7 лет назад
A brief history and build of the APC. The infamous Atari Punk Console was originally called "Sound Synthesizer" in a Radio Shack magazine printed in 1980. 25 years later it gets a new name and becomes the beloved Lofi noise synth the glitch folk love! 37 years later and we're still using it. What an amazing little project! To hear the sound: 11:20 Previously: ruclips.net/video/ulFKLilvr_4/видео...
Basic Explanation On How Compression Works?
Просмотров 3917 лет назад
Compression Explanation starts at: 1:53 FROM THE ARCHIVES! Me attempting to explain how audio compression works. I will pick this up in another video and show the actual differences in sound. I had it in this one, but it ended up being way too long. I noticed a lot of posts about using an audio compressor tended to be a bit tough for beginners. So I thought that'd I'd create a kind of tutorial,...

A lifelong clash between a pathologically angry nephew and a mob-soaked uncle, comes to an end after a family quarrel turns deadly. This is the first multi scene film i made. I was just starting to learn how to use the camera so camera movement is not the best. A lot of stationary shots. Also coloring... whatever, be kind lol. There were 2 scenes that I wanted to add but they never came to frui...

short film 2014. Or i should say my first film that I made that was not a music video. totally 'borrowed' vertigo's poster :)) 2014, thriller. i guess. Was selected for Action on Film 2014 international film festival.

A short film about an aspiring writer. This is the first scripted film I made. We did this in 2013/2014. The actors were great. the story is okay. I think production could've been a little better. Especially that wide angle AGH. we filmed it on a canon 70d. Jody smith Christian Cuoco Emily Hooper

I made this as a teaser for a project I was working on a few years back. I actually had no idea of what it was going to be about so this 'teaser' has nothing to do with the film! YA. But in hindsight it was more of an excuse to test the Black Magic Pocket Camera. lol guy in the car (and guy standing next to it): W. S. Squire Voice: Joe Russo

Hi Jason, forgive me if I sound stupid! I really enjoyed this video and the simplicity of the circuit. But, I would really like to learn more. Can one make more than one oscillator, connect them together and then to maybe a I octave keyboard. Is this asking too much?Keep up the good work, best regards Jack

13:38 You are describing a capacitor! A transistor just acts as a switch that can be turned on and off by electricity. The sort of transistor you have is called a MOSFET, which is just a high power transistor. Maybe do some more research and make a new video :DDDDD

Great tutorial just a really quick (probably silly) question as I'm new as well. I'm also soldering this straight to a circuit board, I don't have a breadboard. You added the red side of your pot to the battery + side of the board. I can't tell from this angle, but is that correct? I'm coming into this from circuit bending in which usually both of those wires would go to two separate contact points and I want to make sure I'm understanding this correctly.

Your explanation of the breadboard is fine. Your explanation of every component after that is just fundamentally wrong. Anyone watching this vid should be able to make this simple oscillator though. Resistor: the higher the resistance, the less voltage will get through it. Potentiometer is a variable resistor, the higher the resistance value, the lower the frequency. More resistance to voltage=less power, which translates to lower frequency in this case. transistor: a transistor is basically a signal amplifier: you feed it a weak signal as control on one pin. This weak signal controls a stronger voltage going through the transistor (at least that's my best understanding) Capacitor: basically this is like a sort of "rechargeable battery" that discharges its load all at once, as soon as it reaches its capacity. It's like a bucket that automatically dumps itself once it is full. (again, my best understanding) So... the resistor, or in this case potentiometer, controls the flow of voltage into the capacitor, from a trickle (very high resistance) to a torrent (very low resistance) the size of the bucket (capacitor) determines how long before it will dump its load. How often that load is dumped, determines the frequency of the output.

Ah, I didn't count how many I used. But if i recall it wasn't too many. But i'd say probably have about 20 on hand, just to be on the safe side. You could also use just regular wires with the tips stripped off. The jumpers are just more convenient. :)
